leggings

Régen ezt hívták cicanadrágnak, ha jól emlékszem. Ma már mindenki csak leggings-ként emlegeti. Nem volt ilyenünk...eddig. Most viszont, hogy beköszöntött a nyár és nagyon meleg van,  a fiúk rövidnadrágban, a kicsi lány harisnya nélkül,  szoknyában jár már, arra gondoltam ez a ruhadarab lehet a megoldás a hűvös reggelekre, mikor bizony szoknyában és zokniban ő fázik. Nem szeretnék már meleg harisnyát húzni rá, az olyan macerás, harisnya le, zokni fel... Volt még régebbről egy jó minőségű 2 irányban elasztikus anyagdarabom, megvarrtam neki csütörtök este ennek a szabásmintának az alapján. Így péntek reggel már nem fázott. Tervezem, hogy visszafogottabb színűt is készítek, majd keresgélek hozzá itthon vagy egy újrahasznosítható, jó rugalmas pólót, vagy még valami maradék anyagot. 

We have not had leggings, until now.  But now as Summer is here and it is quite warm during the days, my boys wear shorts and my girl wears skirts without tights I thought this could be the solution for the chilly mornings when she is still cold.  I do not want to give her tights again because later it is really hot, and then she would have to change to socks...too difficult for a little girl. Easier to wear leggings with socks and when it is warm enough she can easily take them off. I had a scrap of a bi-elastic jersey and I sewed it on the basis of this pattern on Thursday evening. So on Friday she was not cold anymore. I plan to sew more in more natural colours so I will look for old elastic T-shirts to recycle or old scraps.
